Sonali Phogat of Bigg Boss 14 talks about getting trolled for wearing western clothes in an Afeem video
Sonali said she was merely following the director's orders in the film, and that she loves wearing "fashionable dresses," in an interview with a leading newspaper. "However, there are many who continue to comment, saying things like ‘iss age mein aap ko shobha nahi deta iss tarah ke kapde' (they try to tell me to act as per my age). I don't give a damn about what they say because the ones who love me outnumber the haters. People will still say something, so log toh kahenge logon ka kaam hai kehna.â€
After the release of Afeem, Sonali said she was "abused" and "age shamed." "I don't understand why, since I'm older, I can't work in the field. I'm afraid I don't know how to react to this. I haven't seen any of these messages on my blog, but I have seen them on other social media pages that have shared my song or photos. There are so many bad messages, and I don't understand how people would post such hateful things,†she said.
Even though she was aware of Jasmin Bhasin during her time on Bigg Boss 14, Sonali admitted that she liked her co-contestant Aly Goni. For sharing feelings for a younger man, she was trolled.
